Fema Certifications
If your home is in a part of the High Desert that has been designated a flood zone by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, often, in order to obtain or renew any flood insurance policy that you may have or hope to acquire, your insurance provider will require that you first obtain a FEMA certification by a licensed civil engineer. Cubit Engineering can help you obtain your certification and get your home or business insured so you can rest at ease.

How it Works
The certification process is generally a fast and easy process that requires a minimum amount of waiting. First, one of our well trained survey crews will be scheduled to arrive at your home of business to take the necessary measurements that your certification will require. Our crew will generally have to spend between 1 to 3 hours to collect their data.†Once they are satisfied that they have enough data to determine your home or businesses' eligibility for certification, they will then return to our office and present their findings to a civil engineer for approval. If your property is within the recommended guidelines provided by FEMA, then you will receive a signed and stamped approval form from our office. If it does not pass certification, our knowledgeable staff, will explain to you the reasons behind any determinations made by our office and provide you with the documentation that you require.
