A Lot Line Adjustment is required when it becomes necessary for one or more of your lot's boundary lines to be legally relocated. For example, It could be because you own the lot next door and built a wall a little bit over the property line to give yourself a bit more room, but now you want to sell the adjacent lot and really want to keep your wall. Or, you've simply been using a strip of your adjacent land as your driveway for 30 years and don't see any reason to change that now. There are many different reasons that one might want to have a Lot Line Adjustment done but wether or not it is possible depends on a number of different factors unique to your properties location. Some of those factors include net acreage, legal ownership, and city or county approval of the proposed changes.
